Area Of Application

This Quality Manual is applicable to all forms of service by Litecad B.V. that are described in it.

Litecad B.V.'s activities are in general geographically limited to Holland.

Scope

The scope of the Quality Management System for the outplacement process of Litecad B.V. is described as follows: Litecad B.V. increasingly feels the need to run its processes as efficiently and as effectively as possible and make improvements where possible. This is motivated by the growing (international) competition and by the wishes of the government and of business partners. Besides this, the assurance of the safety of employees on project locations has been brought on a high level during recent years. For this, Litecad B.V. wants to identify all the HSEW aspects and make them manageable, in order to reduce the risks for accidents. Making a Quality Management System and certifying it according to ISO 9001:2000 is one of the possibilities to achieve the above mentioned goals. Litecad B.V. is focused on outplacement of employees in the (petro) chemical industry and the oil- and gas production. These outplacements last preferably longer than one year.

Applicable Norm

The norms that are applicable to the Quality Management System are the following:
ISO 9001:2000

Exclusions And Motivation Of The Exclusions

Exclusions of the norm are:

Paragraph 7.3 Design and Development
Litecad B.V. does not develop new kinds of services, as such, for its clients. Its characteristic is the outplacement of employees. Within that range of activities the development of new services is not part of the primary, nor the supporting processes of Litecad B.V.

Paragraph 7.5.5 Conservation of the product
The services supplied by Litecad B.V. are not a physical product, therefore this element of the norm is not applicable.

Managing The Quality Manual

Contents

The Quality Manager is responsible for the contents of the Quality Manual. The Quality Manual is a document with loose pages, of which the contents list shall serve to check its contents. The contents list of the Quality Manual contains a chapter number and chapter title for each chapter. At a revision of a chapter all the pages of that chapter are given the new revision date. The contents list will be updated at every revision. The Quality manager demonstrates his approval of every latest revision by signing and dating the contents list.

Modifications

The Quality Manager is responsible for checking the contents of the Quality Manual, at least once a year, with respect to new laws, regulations, requirements, and modifications of the organization and market changes, to verify if a revision is necessary. Proposals for improvements of the Quality Manual and for the system of Quality Care shall be forwarded to the Quality Manager, who reviews the proposals and, if he agrees, implements them. An overview is made of all the implemented modifications. This overview, together with the modified Manual, is sent to those who possess a registered copy of the Quality Manual for update. The original version of the Quality Manual and all previous revisions, as well as the list of recipients of the issued Quality Manuals, is kept up to date, managed and filed by the Quality Manager.

Controlled Copies Of The Quality Manual

The Quality Manuals shall always contain the latest revisions and shall be updated at every following revision. Each controlled copy of the Quality Manual contains at its front page the indication “Controlled”. Those Quality Manuals with the indication “Controlled” are issued to those who keep a Quality Manual, after registering number and issue number. The Quality Manager takes care of the controlled distribution of Quality Manuals and the ensuing revisions, and keeps a list of the persons, with their functions, who receive a Quality Manual.

Uncontrolled Copies Of The Quality Manual

The Managing Director and the Quality Manager may provide, on request, uncontrolled copies of the Quality Manual to prospective clients. These copies are marked as “Uncontrolled”. Uncontrolled Quality Manuals are not formally registered and are not automatically updated. Uncontrolled Quality Manuals shall have no implications with respect to the services of Litecad B.V.
